The Team Behind Apogee Wellness

We’re Alex and Kate, a husband-and-wife team who started Apogee Wellness with a shared passion for helping people live stronger, healthier, and more balanced lives through personalized, hands-on care.

Alex is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who earned his degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2017. He’s certified in Functional Movement Screening and dry needling and has worked in orthopedic settings ever since. Over the years, he’s had the opportunity to work with thousands of individuals—from kids to professional athletes—helping them overcome pain, restore function, and perform at their best. He brings a thoughtful, movement-based approach to care, grounded in experience and clinical skill. Outside of work, Alex enjoys weightlifting, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, photography, fly fishing, and spending time with the family.

Kate is a licensed massage therapist who has worked with clients both in their homes and at the Reflections Spa inside Planet Hollywood. Before massage therapy, she spent over a decade as a cosmetologist, having always been drawn to work that helps people feel better in their bodies. Massage quickly became her true passion. She's known for her intuitive touch, strong hands, and genuine care for each person she works with. When she’s not with clients, she loves working out, going to concerts, spending time with friends and family, and —most of all— being a mom.

After years in the traditional healthcare system, we became frustrated with the limitations of insurance-driven care— visit restrictions, rigid treatment plans, and a reactive mindset focused more on symptoms than solutions. We wanted something different.

That’s why we started Apogee Wellness: to create a space where care is proactive, personal, and free from insurance constraints.
